Interesting about Mitel's echelles. In the Library here: gratinglab.com, they have a technical note on echelle gratings. Also see Chapter 11.5 in the on-line Diffraction Grating Handbook. Richardson Grating Lab isn't doing it on silicon, of course. That's quite a feat! WT
