What would be more convinceing to me then the examples you give would be solid evidence of a very stong global warming trend, based on historical tempature readings, that starts when human CO2 production began to take off and continues straight through to today and that is enough above the normal year to year or decade to decade fluctioations to make it clear that it is a trend not random change

Tim

You are sitting in your cabin and you can smell something burning but you see no fire. There is a haze in the air but that can be attributed to a hot summer day.

Unbeknownst to you there is a major forest fire burning just on the other side of one of the hills that form your valley. You have no telephone or TV or PC and so you have no idea that this fire has consumed millions of acres and firefighters can not contain it....and it is moving in your direction at a rapid rate.

By the top you determine that the smoke you smell and the haze you see is in fact a forest fire, you might not have a sufficient time to escape.

And this is why I am concerned that AMD never get complacent with Intel. You never know when Chipzilla will get its act together and poise a serious threat...right Manfredhasler? hehehehehe
