Why do you think "centrist" is good? For everything there is a season, right now is not the season to off the deep end to either the right or the left. Of the market rules that have served me best, Let your winners ride is one of the most successfull. I like how things are happening in this country, I like how they seem to be going, and I don't want to f***k it up! Gore is the man to keep on keeping on (since Clinton can't run). Junior-George so wants to finally please his daddy that he will say anything, do any deal, and hand off our future to those who may make him President. The risk/reward for Bush is very bad. There is a high degree of risk that he's going to screw up and start another Reagan style borrow and spend cycle while dividing the nation on social issues. The reward if he doesn't screw up is about the same as Gore. The choice is clear. TP
