You are lucky. Our plants wilt. Two hoses drip on roses tonight. Last week, a hose dripped water on a climbing rose for two days because I a forgot about it! After all that water, the rose flourishes.

I've water and added compost to the roses in back so most may survive. I'm not so sure about the ones in front.

I don't like to use systemic sprays so if these roses don't make it, I'll have to replace them next spring.

A neighbor's front lawn is green. He must water 24 hours a day. I don't have the time, the patience or the money to do it so I imagine we'll have to replace a few plants next year.

Still, no rain. I didn't go for a swim today because I had to see my ophthalmologist. Butt, I need minor surgery so I won't be able to swim for a month, but by that time, hopefully, it will be cooler, and I can use the weight room facilities until my eyes heal.
