There was a good article in the Atlantic Monthly about people stealing pets for sale to hospitals for research. What pissed me off most was that laws to crack down on this activity have been consistently blocked by an organization of biotech companies and our own federal gov't. Perhaps the specific biotech companies that use dogs in their research can be identified and made to know that such practices will no longer escape the scrutiny of the public. any ideas?
