Hi Bernard,

I did hear Faber's report and I understand the points he is trying to make. However, I don't understand why the current bear market for CLEC's should find NXLK doing so much better than WCII. In addition, I don't understand why the BBFW companies are being painted with the same brush as the DSL CLECs and Fiber CLECs. WCII, NXLK, and TGNT have the licenses that the big telecoms don't have for a technology that WCII has shown works and can generate high growth in revenues. There are barriers to entry for BBFW which there are not for fiber. IMO, the Worldcoms, QWests, and Verizons of the world are a much greater threat to the fiber CLECs than they are to the BBFW CLECs. In matter of fact, they all need to acquire a BBFW CLEC, IMO.

BL - Bit negative from you of late.

So far as WCII is concerned my viwe for what it it is worth is as follows:_

1. Being around $30 is pretty good all things considered in this climate.

2. If BR and Nate get WCII to EBITDA positive 1st half next year then my view is that it will take off. I f on the other hand there is no clear and believable chance of getting to that or they issue a warning about almost anything then my view is that the trigger fingers on WCII will pull and watch out below.

I happen to think they WILL get there 1st half next year. Took longer than many would have like but if it happens it will be worth it.

So let just concentrate on how much the revenues have to grow to get there. Seems to me that a bit of speculation on that issue alone will help others in their own dd.

AS far as JDSU Corning etc being overvalued I think it is worth reviewing what people like Bernie Ebbers say that WCOM has to spend on infrastrure annually for a good many years to come.

That helps to get the valuation of these suppliers in better perpsective

Best regards,

L
