Eric-

Isn't it most accurate to judge a company based primarily on what it has accomplished in its most recent years?

I agree. But some consistency would be nice. Up to a year ago, amdroids were saying that superior engineering (AMD of course) was more important than recent company performance. You couldn't find a droid who would judge AMD based on what it had accomplished in its most recent years. Boy, has that worm turned! Now, all they want to talk about the last 12 months and of course the future (which we can all agree is the most important).

The argument that your company must be doing well because the stock is up is very weak.

This isn't my argument, it is my philosophy. If I am up on a stock, the company is doing well. If not, it isn't.

You are willing to concede that past performance should at least be considered as one of many factors in making investment decisions. That is a rare belief among amdroids.

Eric, <The argument that your company must be doing well because the stock is up is very weak.>

Funny how that argument looks in light of AMD's performance relative to their 52-week low.
