John Neff was pushing WM back in Barron's interview on 1/24/00. Its done well since he was rec'ing at 22 and change.

The fed should hold rates, so WM may benefit from that. Got hurt a bit today by yet another acquisition, always puts a dent in the bottom line in the short term. I've been in since 26. I think it's a solid company.

I think that you should really doing with their new Occasio branches and how it could totally change banking. I had been holding this due to the very low valuation of this company, but a friend convinced me how revolutionary this could be.

I think two to three years from now it could trade at 15 times $5.00 in earnings, or $75 a share.

Beyond Occasio, this is an extremly well run thrift that is transforming everyday more and more into a bank, which should allow it a higher multiple. In fact, two brokerages just upgraded it because they hadto up estimates from higher fee income.
