No. It's just a trick to keep the Californians from moving there. :)


Its no trick...Seattle is about 60 miles from the North Pole. If you don't believe me, ask Milo...I think Portland is about 90 miles from the Pole which is how we refer to it way up here in the far North.

Normally, when the ice is solid, its a popular picnic area for northwesterners in the summer.
