note, it's the leveraged speculators (the big ones) leveraging themselves further...and that would include most US listed corporations. there's an incredible mountain of debt, mostly short term, supported by very little equity. anything that comes along to shake confidence out of the blue could see houses of cards collapse left and right. of course it must be said that confidence is extraordinarily high right now...not grounded in reality too much, but it's there nonetheless.
