re:wake the hell up

good advice, take it :-))

re:What about notebooks...AMD is getting their clock cleaned

well, I guess you are right, amd should not settle on slightly ove 50% of retail notebooks

re:What about the commercial market..

and you are right on again. So much opportunity for amd to gain there and intel can only loose - can not get more than 100%, you know.

re:(we buy Compaq and IBM primarily)

and right on here as well. ITs are not buying intel but rather compaq, ibm, dell and such. So far Compaq did not use amd in their commercial line but what if they would in some near future

re:The answer is because corporations are not asking for AMD based systems.

dingggg, wrong answer. Companies are not asking for intel either - they ask for OEMs

re: If you truly believe this then load up on a bunch of short term out of the money options.....

so kind of you to provide free of charge investment advice :-))

Regards
-Albert

Cory:

You're sounding awfully defensive...and so you should...the dam has burst and AMD is about to flood the INTC landscape with a superior price/performance product in all microprocessor segments!!! Come back in 6 months and let me know if you fell the same way...that is if INTC is still in the microprocessor business...i.e. still attempting to produce 800 MHz PWeeiii processors in quantity!!!
