Jeez FT, if we get a strong boost to the Republicans, and and and get the Libitarians back in the fold to work and work hard.... then I see the republicans as the saviours of our nation. Have to start with a STRONG party, have party unison, add the Libertarian ideas that which really are the party focus that have broken away and no I don't mean Pat, either one of them. Personal freedoms, free from hateful taxes, personal restraints. Freedom from dividing the country from hate this class or that race like the democrats do. Freedom from wealth redistrobution unless it's earned and then take all you got coming. Freedom to be all you can be. Safety net, of course, but not a base for living. We can be compassionate. Help the needy but help them to get rich on their own. That's my take on what this country should be. FT, do I get an Amen or a boo? Btw, I'd love to see Lawrence Kudlow in the government. President has been taken but if Greenspan retires... or 2004...
