Governor Bush filled four vacancies on the Supreme Court of Texas by appointment. He has also appointed a number of Intermediate Court of Appeals judges.

His Supreme Court appointments are:

Alberto R. Gonzales, January 11, 1999.

James A. Baker, October 1995.

Greg Abbott, 1996.

Deborah G. Hankinson, October 22, 1997

Justice Harriet O'Neill was elected to the Supreme Court of Texas in 1998 after having been appointed to the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston by Gov. Bush in 1995

You know: you really should pay attention to what is going on in Austin, and then you wouldn't have to ask me which judges I "claim" Gov. Bush appointed.
