Both amd and Intel are likely to do well. While Intel definitely got resource advantage it is also true that intel needs to generate substantially higher total earnings in order to justify it's market cap. If intel is to maintain profit margin then it would have tough time maintaining its hold on commercial market since amd's PM is about 1/2 of intels while the cost differential is not that drastic.
