And please don't go pulling the personal defensive governor on me by saying by writing this I am "assuming" others on this board do not help and serve others.

Defensive? Where such things as risk-taking and service are concerned, I don't need to be defensive. My question to you was (and still is) why constantly tell people who you assume already are risk-taking servers, that they ought to be risk-taking servers? Isn't that rather like taking coals to Newcastle?

Another point. In your first post, you listed your two examples in response to Steven's comment that he did not get the impression you were risking much of anything. So, in that sense, you did appear to be going for some sort of "risk prize."

In your second post, you provide more context. Good. It is impossible to assess a particular risk when you 1) don't know the context, and 2) the reason for taking the risk (is it compelling enough?). In other words, you might just have been another Sherman McCoy, the anti-hero of The Bonfire of the Vanities, who imprudently drove his Mercedes through the South Bronx at 2:00 a.m..... :-)
