Dotty,

The syllabus deadline is so early that many speakers make substantial changes before the show. I had 35 slides. Those alone would have exceeded the page length that I was supposed to provide. So I do the best that I can early but do most of my prep just before the program.

I'm already have a deadline of next Tuesday for a show in late October. I'm not even sure that I will be sober by then.
