BELLEVUE, Wash., Aug 22, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- PopMail.com, Inc.
(Nasdaq:POPM), an affinity digital marketing company, today announced its
wholly-owned subsidiary, IZ.com, Inc., selected Vignette Corporation (Nasdaq:
VIGN), the leading supplier of e-Business applications, to provide the
underlying software mechanisms for the IZ Publishing System (IPS).

Vignette's software will allow IZ to offer world-class digital publishing
solutions to prospects and customers. The IZ Publishing System allows content to
be entered once for repeated use and in multiple formats, with multiple "brands"
and on multiple platforms (email, web, WAP). This powerful and highly scalable
tool automatically handles input, editing, workflow, formatting, production and
delivery. IZ Publishing System meets the needs of companies who want to lead the
way in the New Economy by developing new revenue opportunities, increasing
customer contact and lowering consumer acquisition costs.

Jesse Berst, CEO of IZ, commented, "We have a state-of-the-art publishing
concept that we are building in partnership with some of the Internet's top
brands. It only made sense to build on top of the leading content platform.
Teaming with Vignette gives us - and our partners - the confidence that we can
grow as fast and as far as needed."

Thanks CIMA, it looks like someone is deliberately holding POPM down, amazing volume last friday , close to 3 million shares traded and it only closed higher cause it closed at the ask. Any idea why it is having a hard time getting above $1 , shorts maybe?
