Scumbria: <<The one exception of course is Dirk>>

Given Willy's high scalebility and Hammer wont debut in early 2002, how high Athlon in terms of Ghz can go (under 0.18; 0.13 and 0.10)?

Hope Dirk has left us plenty of outerspace in Athlon!

Scumbria,

BTW: Who is the Mike Tyson or O.J Simpson of architects?

I am curious. Who, and what did he design?

Joe

I'd vote for Seymour Cray, though I guess he'd be more like the Muhammad Ali of architects. He didn't quite manage the transition to VLSI and MPUs, though.

Cheers, Dan.
