Do you have the least idea of what you are talking about? There was a serious recession in the first Reagan administration as inflation was purged from the economy, followed by a long boom. It had nothing to do with the build- down in defense. The one that did have to do with the build- down in defense, as a factor among several, occurred during the Bush administration, and lasted 7 months, which is historically minor.......
