November 22, 1999 - ImageWare Awarded Contract from King County Adult Detention, WA ImageWare was recently awarded a contract to upgrade the existing digital mugshot system for King County Adult Detention (representing King County Law Safety and Justice Agencies), Washington. ImageWare's Crime Capture SystemTM Version 2.0 (CCS2) will provide a Microsoft NT Server-based system for capturing digital mugshots and data for individuals being booked by the County, as well as employee ID cards (providing general identification, electronic building access, and employee bus passes).
October 11, 1999 - ImageWare Releases Version 2.0 of Crime Capture System ImageWare is pleased to announce the release of its latest generation digital booking software. ImageWare’s Crime Capture System TM Version 2.0 (CCS2) will replace an existing system used to photograph individuals being booked into the County, and represents a vital step in Sheriff Kevin Beary’s plan to boost law enforcement initiatives in the County.

August 24, 1999 - ImageWare to Supply Investigative Software to LA County Sheriff’s Department ImageWare has been awarded a contract to supply a central photo imaging server with Investigative Search and Facial Recognition client software to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The capabilities will include a secure Internet browser for investigative searches.
June 25, 1999 - ImageWare Awarded Contract from Milwaukee County ImageWare’s Crime Capture SystemTM (CCS) video imaging technology will replace an existing system used to photograph individuals being booked into the Milwaukee County Criminal Justice Facility and House of Correction.
June 22, 1999 - ImageWare Offers Web Based Law Enforcement Software ImageWare Software, Inc. announced its new web-based Crime WebTM application suite. Crime Web allows users to utilize the Internet or secure Intranet’s for investigative searches and facial recognition.

May 24, 1999 - ImageWare awarded Las Vegas Police Contract as part of bid with PRC/Litton PRC, Inc., a subsidiary of Litton Industries, today announced that the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) awarded PRC a contract to modernize the department’s positive identification and information management systems. Litton PRC has assembled a world class team to make the project a reality, including ImageWare Software, Inc., NEC Technologies, Arcata Associates and Gifford Electric.
May 1, 1999 - ImageWare Announces New Orders for New Facial Recognition Software ImageWare Software announced today new orders for its latest generation facial recognition technology. Face IDTM version 2.0 provides law enforcement agencies with state-of-the-art facial recognition technology which dramatically enhances the ability of officers to identify and convict suspects. Face ID 2.0 is currently being installed at various law enforcement agencies including the sheriff’s departments in Los Angeles County, CA, Hennepin County, MN, the Arizona Department of Public Safety and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
November 19, 1998 - ImageWare & Panasonic Sign Agreement For Custom Application ImageWare and Panasonic have signed an agreement for the development of a custom software application to be used with Panasonic’s new Motion Image Printer (MIP). The combined strengths of ImageWare’s software knowledge and Panasonic’s hardware expertise will result in an application designed to print 2"x4", plastic, animation and motion cards that will create the illusion of motion with an up and down movement.

January 15, 1998 - AZ Dept of Public Safety Awards Statewide Contract to ImageWare After an extensive evaluation process, the State of Arizona announced Wednesday that they had awarded the Arizona Statewide Digital Mug Photo Interface Contract to ImageWare Software, Inc. The contract is expected to exceed one million dollars and is the first contract of its kind to be awarded for a statewide mugshot system.

December 1, 1997 - LA Sheriff’s Dept Employs New Vehicle Identification Software Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are on a roll when it comes to capturing crooks the high-tech way.
