I don't see that at all. This country has was built by both parties, and to seriously attempt to elevate one above the other in any qualitative sense is absurd, IMO.Do you really believe America will crash and burn if the Dems take the White House? That your life, or the lives of most Americans will be measurably affected by the particular party that wins? The matrix of factors that contribute to this country's health transcends politics. This country is a big ship, and turning it is a very slow affair--I'd say the range of steering is between 11:30 and 12:30 over the course of a presidential term, with "environmental" and "structural" factors playing a much more significant role in our destiny than the hands on the wheel do.
