That is indicative to me that the day traders aren't playing RMBS right now, which is a positive sign IMO.

again i agree!

just 2 weeks ago, rmbs volume lightened up for a few days before running again...isn't this what is called a rest stop?
i saw csco, aol and intc do the same thing many times.

Since most day traders trade in small amounts 100-1000 shares why do you feel they weren't playing. I disagree and feel just the opposite, watching all of the small trades take place yesterday. Yes volume was down which is often the case when the momentum traders find something else better to trade on a given day.
