Noranda Mines bid's $24.50 for Rio Algom...........with the stock @ $18 Teck buy's 4 million Cominco @$25..............with the stock at $19 ..........Barrick bid's $7 for Pangea..........with the stock @ $4.Looks to me that the smart money is buying assets in the ground WITH CASH!!!!! I was in Sudbury recently and I drove by the Copper Cliff smelting/refining complex of Inco's. That infrastructure is worth billions as no company could ever build that kind of complex in today's world. I may be a dinosaur but I will always believe in commodities as they are finite and Rare!
