F/T That will never happen. Promises in Politics are made to be broken;-) Always remember that all Politicians get paid by the Government and they forget the taxpayer as long as they get what they want;-( Sad but true. It is my observation that we are in for a very conservative era' We may see a Bear Market with all of this overvalued Stock around, NOTHING IN LIFE IS SO CONSISTENT AS CHANGE. If we think that these politicans give a damn about us then just wait until this election is over and it does not matter who wins.

FT, In the current environment, that would be political suicide. Unlike income taxes, cessation of all federal tax would entail the end of FICA collections, thus bankrupting the entitlement program immediately since there isn't one red cent in the trust fund. Those who make $30k or less account for the lion's share of SS tax, unlike income tax. You know my feelings on ss, so I won't repeat them.knc
