mishedlo > I believe they will start collecting royalties on nearly all memory by end of the year.???

I really doubt the Rambus management believe that.. They might dream of it, but believe it...nah!

Re: mishedlo, fair "evaluation"

I've already posted a fair "evaluation" of Rambus with one of my first posts here. As for fair valuation of RMBS, I'd say maybe somewhere around $2.50/ share, which would put the stock at a bit more reasonable 100 or so times earnings instead of infinite or whatever it is now...

Hi Mishedlo,

sorry for the late reply, but I am replying from Hong Kong, exactly 12 hours out of synch with most of you.
Any way, my valuation of RMBS ? morgan Stanley has a target for $200
intel has reiterated their support for RMBS this week with the statement that it is the only memory for the high end. Which can be read as what is highend today, is middle of the road tomorrow, so this too bodes well for RMBS.
But the biggest unknown, is the DDR and SDR patent issue.
Were they to be recognised, then the 200 would (for a time at least) be surpassed.
But frankly, if in the mid term the PE settles at 60 and earnings are acheived of $2.50 this would give us a price of $150
I think that is a reasonable target

Alan
