Just for fun, let's posit that SUNW has entered a new era. In this new era, an 80% rise in earnings (as occurred in the 12 months ended June 30 compared with the previous 12 months) is "typical". Let's also posit that a PE of 100 or so is considered fine for SUNW at least for the next few years.

Then, 3 years from now, in August 2003, SUNW's stock would trade at (drum roll...............): $723 (excluding upcoming splits).

Dear Charles: Does your "friends" name begin with an L? IF so I have it too. (gg). Frankly, I was surprised to see another analyst write what we have "mostly" all said. Course I suppose Steve Lee wouldnt agree. Hey that rhymes!! JDN
