Tim- Also if he isn't losing votes (because the people that would not vote for a Jewish running mate would not vote for Gore anyway according to you), then how is it showing courage. Because I could easily be wrong. It was a risk, even if you believe it isn't going to hurt him. There are anti-semites on the left as well as the right. Sure, but probably not enough to make any difference. What would impress me more then some one picking a Jewish running mate would be some one picking a Jewish running mate and no one making a big deal about it. I assume you are not blaming Gore for all the hoopla. There will be less made of it next time, and less the time after that. Frank
