teevee - Are diamonds dense enough to concentrate along thalwegs, ala gold, or will they be carried along to other, lower energy areas? Alluvial deposition sites are characterized by a rapid drop in energy and are therefore good targets, but can the same be said for higher energy locations? Do you know of any placer diamond deposits? I'm quite interested if you, or anyone else, knows.
