I think you are looking through rose colored glasses, assuming Intel is standing still while AMD is on the move. BTW, did you see this, Intel demonstrated a 2 GHz P4:

Shouldn't the expansion of the Durons should increase the ASP since they will be replacing K6 rather than Athlons and I see the portion of performance processors continuing to increase during the time that Dresden is ramping up. At some point, though, Fab25 may be less competitive if unable to keep up with the rapidly advancing MHz front.
