Then you haven't been paying attention to SPEC benchmarks where TTurd loses to CuMine by a pretty good margin in both INT and FP, even using optimized code for both processors. You haven't paid attention to most other modern benchmarks either because CuMine wins most every on of those too. You also haven't been paying attention to the huge power draw by the K7 generation that completely shuts them out of the notebook market or the complete absence of SMP capability or the large die size that increases manufacturing costs. You also missed the volume numbers predicted by AMD for Q3 or you would have noticed a curious problem on AMD's part either with yields or a willingness to commit wafer starts to K7 processors. It does have pretty good binsplits, apparently although AMD failed to match Intel in their latest new release. Considering all the areas where it comes up wanting, you still manage to find a ray of hope. Bless you.
