the crude contract month changes...that has always led to a drop lately, due to the backwardation. it usually catches up within a few days.
the bond market is rallying out of habit..it doesn't need a reason. same as with stocks.

the VIX has made it into a CNBC report...expect it to become meaningless from here on out.
