CR33- As one of those investors that lost his ass on QCOM (and I bought after the thing had already tanked several times) I have to admit I haven't been keeping up with all the developments, but it was my understanding that QCOM has royalty rights to only the specific 2g patents of CDMA. The rulings you refer to cover 2g, not 3g. If I am right (I know- a big if <vbg>) that is the reason for the decline. CDMA is losing it's foothold worldwide, and 3g has various companies holding potential patents.
