The rise of the Green party and Nader is basicly the result of Clinton & Gore saying to the fringe of the Democratic party We embrace your goals, but we will pursue them in a moderate and compromising way. The Republicans go for a more quid pro quo, support us and we will give you this many judges and that many bills. The Republican way is not democracy, it's an auction.
