GVTucker, Thanks for your informative post. I might actually send an email to Cisco. I don't usually pay attention to such things but am curious in any case--for future reference. I can see why it should not really be important; even most sales by officers of the company are ignored by the market.

I am just a little puzzled why this particular stock stays down for so long (yea---I know the valuation issue). I am probably grasping for a logical explanation under the current market conditions.

Maybe I am wasting too much time trying to narrow it down to a specific reason. I will try to just be patient with this one.

BTW-- i would point out that the options trades certainly impacted the stock even if employee stock holding is a non-factor.
--Or maybe anticipation of the window opening for employees has been the cause for the selloff by the institutional holders or traders. <g>
