Actually, bears don't really go into hibernation in the true sense of the word. An old saying among Indians (south of Polar bear territory) is beware of the snow bear. Bruins will sometimes get up in the middle of winter and stroll around a bit. And they are not in a good mood.

Maybe we will get a downtick in January? Wonder what year, or decade? -g-
