Maybe AMD will be able to do a high volume 1.5GHz release at the end of the year?

I'm not talking about high volume 1.5GHz SMP Mustang system shipments from Dell.

My point was just that there will be a critical window of time where Intel will be introducing this new system to the world. First impressions are important. If AMD could send 1.4 GHz systems to the press at the same time so that a clock for clock comparison can be done, we'd see headlines like "AMD athlon faster than Pentium 4." Such a memory will last long in the heads of the public, irregardless of the IPC vs MHz arguments we make here.

PR is avalid part of the bussiness. AMD needs to bow to it.
