At pricewatch I see many pages of 128MB PC133 below $190, some as low as $117.

I was quoting Kingston or Viking RIMM's. Kingston or Viking does not sell PC133 SDRAM at the prices you mention.

By the way, what does it matter above relative cost of RDRAM to SDRAM anyway. RMBS should be able to sign all Dram mfgs. to SDRAM/DDR royalty contracts as long as RDRAM continues to be best solution for 1GHz and above Intel microprocessors IMO. When no one buys RDRAM period, then DRAM mfg's could avoid RMBS's legal actions.
In conclusion, I defer to Tate's "3 ways RMBS wins" arguement at conference call:

1- Performance benefits with RDRAM
or
2- no cost penalty for RDRAM
or
3- just litagate for SDRAM/DDR royalties
