jim_p, these numbers are almost "too good" imo. I think they almost garauntee "SOME" SPR release and OPEC noise about increased production. But as we all now know OPEC can't deliver the goods. The market place is beginning to realise this too, however, this is why I favor services over E&P. There simply MUST be new production capacity added. No choice now. SPR releases just won't cut the mustard. We need most of that in case of war. The Pentagon will make sure most of it stays in storage. OPEC has been producing at full capacity for some time now and we still get draws like this? Pretty soon even Washington may "get it". If the politicians want economic growth they MUST allow for more drilling.
