Hi bp,

Thank you so very much! Maybe TOO evocative for those of us who have been there! I DREAMED about babies last night!

On the tour of Santa Cruz, there was a family with both a seventeen year old and an infant. I said, "Ooooo- look! Oh, Honey, don't you wish we were starting all over?"

I admit am not thinking clearly these days; I find myself indulging in FS-type memories of parenting and the occasional weeping spell when I look into Ammo's room-- the sad kind of tears, not the terrified, my God- there are probably more bacterial cultures growing in here than in the inner sanctum of the CDC type.

Dan looked horrified, "No."

"Wouldn't you like to hold a baby in your arms again?"

He blanched and turned to look at me, "penni, you're not-- you couldn't be..."

The baby began fussing and and the dad took it and left the room. I came to. "Of course not!"

Relief flowed over Dan's face.

There is just a time to move on and it seems we are there.

I am optimistic. I still have 9 months before Ammo graduates. I can still lose those pounds.
Please refrain from telling me you are sitting there in Size 4 jeans.
Nice to see you again!
