OT - Mary, you are hitting all the tourist traps, aren't you, LOL! If you are heading north, after your obligatory stop at Hearst Castle (a tourist trap that I DO recommend...), see if any of the locals can direct you to Nachiemento (sp?) Road. (But ask a local who REALLY knows the area...) About 20-30 miles north of Hearst Castle. It winds up into the mountains, and is an incredible drive. Not to be taken if you get car-sick easily. :)
