What is Best Book Buys' main source of revenue?

We participate in merchant referral programs which are designed to compensate sites like us when we deliver customers to their sites. We have also begun to sell advertising space which can be targeted to specific search terms.


Why would people bother to go there when they can go directly to Amazon.com (e.g.) and be done with the shopping about two minutes sooner? OK, some people will go there, but if varsity.com has the lowest prices, then you buy the book there (after typing in the account info etc) only to receive one with a torn cover (my experience, not necessarily typical)...

Thanks for your great book link...I have done 1 deal w/ 1BookStreet last week -- only good for 1st time deal ($15 coupon)...they claim free shipping, but charge about 5% higher price.

U must have dumped your AMZN Jan calls? :) How can u put AMZN's competitors here :).
