<g> Speaking of Mavericks, I had one of those too. Loved it. Bought it from some friends for $100. All it needed was minor tuning and a major polishing. But it was beautiful when it was done. Unfortunately, my roommate wrecked it and I traded it for a <gasp> Pinto. With a cracked cylinder sleeve. Bought a used 2.3 engine and manual tranny from some friends for $50 and was amazed at the thing. Turned out it wasn't exactly a stock motor, but they didn't need it anymore since they'd put a 302 in their Pinto.
