Thread- Some 1.1 GHz bench marks can be found on page 57 of
Maximum PC September issue.

Under the heading of performance

"Athlon (1.1) absolutely shattered lab records"

Under the heading of availability

"AMD seems able to turn up the horsepower at will. Though Intel is primed to introduce its own 1.13 GHz P-lll a casual look through online storefronts shows that even a 1GHz P-lll is still extremely scarce. AMD on the other hand, is cranking out 1GHz CPU's like crazy, and was able to give us a 1.1 GHz sample without thinking twice."

To be fair there was no direct comparison to a 1.13GHz P-lll and the 1 GHz P-lll that they had did beat the 1.1 GHz Athlon in 4 gaming benchmarks.
