Hi Earlie; Re my memories of the situation back then... I later realized that I interviewed with Hyman Rickover in '79, not the late 80s like I wrote. Funny how age sneaks up on you like a thief. Yeah, I like the situation that the world is in right now. Compare to 1939 when some of the strongest countries in the world were totally nuts.

The Rambus thread is still my primary entertainment. It is a remarkable story. Don Lloyd has been getting payments from them, for diverting me over here.

I just noticed that RMBUS is still pretty high and has no earnings--is losing money. Correction: it's make a few cents lately.

I am not a high enough roller to short anything by XLK, where I can sort of see where I am going, but the temptation is great to get into some RMBS puts, especially on another crazy bounce.

Just wondered if anyone else thought that way.

(I got the idea by following someone who was very high on LU some time back and found him holding forth on the RMBS thread)
