How long has it been since EBay last crashed? How long has it been since your desktop last crashed? Be honest.

I use Windows -- legacy machine bought under a monopoly, you know? When it's due for replacement, I don't expect to replace it with another Windows machine -- had enough of that, you know?

What are you typing your messages into? Windows? Internet Explorer? Both? Please be honest:-)

I actually posted about a year ago that I sense non-administrative depts moving away from MS-office. Unsurprisingly, I got no support on this thread.. :-) But really word has turned into such bloatware that nobody wants to use it, I can say that. You need it for formatted resumes but as far as everyday office memos its just too resource intensive.

I agree with you.

Right now almost every pc user is on the windows os and most companies use nt for their LAN. granted UNIX is a much more stable atmosphere but if Microsoft gets away from dos and builds a new PC OS they will be invincible.
