HOW MANY DAYS LEFT BEFORE CLINTON SHUTS DOWN THE GOVERNMENT? He’ll do it, you know. He’ll do it because he knows the media will blame the Republicans, and Gore will be the ultimate winner. I mentioned this yesterday, and I’ll mention it again today. The GOP will send Clinton a 2001 budget without Clinton’s huge prescription entitlement program. Clinton will refuse to sign. He’ll also refuse to sign a continuing resolution to continue the essential operations of government.
