ROFL! Such a stitch.... If I were the first guy to float the rumor that the Kursk's been sunk because of a collision with a foreign sub then our conspiracy-basher, George Crapadopoulos, would scoff at me for another week.... I can even hear his taunting: "Oh sure, Gus, it's probably a Mossad sub... Ah ah ah!" But hey, the actual rumormonger is the Russky Navy's Chief of Staff himself!! His nibs Vyacheslav POPOV! So, all in all, the Russians are insinuating a casus belli brought about by the Brits! Actually, the whole mess perfectly illustrates the deep inferiority complex the Russians harbor vis-à-vis the West's military paraphernalia. Sure enough, the Kursk was the jewel of the Russian navy --only put into service in 1994. But tell me what's the difference with the shooting-down of the US Air Force's masterpiece, that is, the so-called "stealth bomber" that got slammed down over Belgrade like an old WWI crate! So far the score is: US Air Force: 1 Blow - Russian Navy: 1 Blow.

WHITE ENGLISH FACE GROWING RACISM, WATCHDOG WARNS (UK) White English men and woman are fighting a rising tide of racism amid a growing fear of the consequences of speaking out, the head of a racial equality watchdog has warned. Whites of English origin living in Wales are complaining of discrimination for the first time ever but many choose to keep their identities secret. Naz Malik, chairman of Swansea Bay Race Equality Council, warned that racism against the English in Wales risked developing into a major problem. His comments come as the race equality watchdog takes up the case of two female BBC Radio Wales broadcasters who claim they are subject to racist attitudes at the corporation. The two women, one English and the other Asian, are both claiming discrimination as a result of their non-Welsh origin. BBC Wales dismissed the claims and said any such allegations were taken extremely seriously. Mr Malik said: "The English who are on the wrong end of this banter and abuse do not like it at all and feel very uncomfortable with the situation. "The BBC is not an isolated case. What we are seeing at the moment are the first recorded cases of English whites complaining about discrimination. Our records suggest that in the 20 years since we have been in existence we have certainly not come across that situation before. "I have been telephoned by three officers working for Welsh county councils who have complained of discrimination because of who they are - they all wanted to remain anonymous. "What it shows is that English people are afraid to go public because they feel afraid of retaliation. Unless we take positive action now and stamp this problem out it can only get worse.
