STORE.SUN.COM seems to have changed the "Availability" field for most workstations to "Delayed." Clicking on it explains that demand exceeds supply. I don't know whether to be happy or worried; the answer depends on whether demand is huge or supply is limited. We know there has been some tightness in component availability, but I thought that was under control. Hopefully the answer is that there's runaway demand. Another possibility might be that they're doing product changeover to the III's.

I was hoping they'd run a "Back to School" special, but that seems less likely if there's a big backlog.

JMHO.

Hi David!! --- Congratulations on chosing parents with SUNW equity, and more importantly, a dad with such a great sense of humour ('humor' to us regular Americans). He's gonna need it. Happy breastfeeding little dude! Cuddles and bunny rabbit noises, -Uncle JC --- Proggy- listen, I just read that beer, particularly *hoppy beer contains anti-oxidants and you can't get enough of it. A cold keg of IPA at home in the nursery may be just the ticket: Oh, don't get up, sweetheart! I'll go tap -- I mean, rock the baby. Really, you just go back to sleep. <g>
