Alas, the answer I expected. Oh well, you won't know if you don't ask.

Tench- Do Itanium compilers support C++?

I pulled this quote off tom's hardware- they say that Itanium's compilers use templates to figure out the parrallelism. Does this mean that standard c++ "virtual" inheritence isn't supported? (or perhaps instead not recommended)

As you might be able to see already, it is important to budget execution ports for instructions as contention of execution units can easily occur. This can be challenging for those writing assembly language programs, but is also non-trivial for compiler developers. The compilers Intel has developed use templates to place instructions in bundles to minimize execution unit contention.
