The airline industry already has other cooperative systems which function perfectly well and have for a long time. Aeronautical Radio is a cooperative venture from the first days of aviation which provides the communications links. This may be the system that ties air traffic control together. The government is such a force for the status quo that I have thought for some time that the airlines need to take it over.

Sheesh -- I thought those ATC folks would be out at their local screwdriver shops cobbling together a 72 CPU AthWiper system for tomorrow's ATC needs.

Maybe you should send them an AMD educational e-mail about how "cost effective" the AMD Kluge machine will be.
